June Update, 2025

As of this post (May 31st/June 1st), Earth has just experienced a G3 solar-caused geomagnetic storm and is expecting another one within a day or two of equal or greater impact.

The storm was supposed to be a G1 classification, but as we have noted repeatedly, experts are continually surprised that Earth’s weakening magnetic shields are letting in more radiation and charged particles into the atmosphere and the lithosphere. Expect that this is the “new” normal.

Even though most flaring is in the M and C classifications, with only one X flare of note (no “kill shots”) – and even though sunspot numbers are now below one hundred (a clear sign that the Sun is in its phase of decline) – nevertheless, what we might call “normal” solar behavior is impacting us adversely in many ways. (Sorry for the long sentences. I will try to do better.)

What this means is that solar weather will continue to have a corrosive effect on plant and animal life, and on human health. I have a lot of hardware in my back from a serious injury five years ago. I can tell when these storms are occurring because I feel pretty crappy on those days.

Both Mr. Burns and Mr. Davidson are in earnest competition to offer the best and most recent analyses. While Burns is skeptical (Suspicious?) of the larger catastrophic view of solar nova cycles as propounded by Davidson and this website, he does provide lengthy and interesting analysis of day-to-day solar activity. Unlike Davidson, he places weight on planetary positioning, relying upon the works of J.H. Nelson from the 1940s and 50s. Nelson worked for RCA and was primarily tasked with forecasting solar storms which might impact radio communications. He came up with a formula which included planetary geometry in his predictions, and became quite good at it.

You can learn more about it here:

Go to the 11 minute mark for the reference to Nelson.

I will provide an update to the “Davidson” Source page next week on the events at Observer’s Ranch.

Publishing schedule: A new Cambrian Pesher is planned for Pentecost (June 8th) on the landed gentry entitled: “Parens Patriae and Men Without Feet.” It also coincides with a Father’s Day theme.

There will be more on “Newton’s Notes” as we discuss his view of a “Thousand-YearTribulation Period and more for our usual categories.

With blessings,
