In the Filioque, the Western Catholic Church separated in what became the “great schism” from the Eastern Orthodox Church. It created the precedent of separatism of “reform without tarrying for any” in Western Civilization. In this act, the Western Church exalted the primacy of Scripture over the Creeds of the Ecumenical Councils. The Eastern Church had become irrevocably Hellenized; the hope of reform could not be indulged by the Western Church.

But in establishing the supremacy of Scripture, it undercut its own authority in the papacy and sowed the seeds for the Protestant Reformation: “sola scriptura.” For a better understanding of this and more, such as the real meaning of speaking in tongues, the role of the Desposyni, and the Wisdom Tradition founded by the Prophet Daniel, read this Pesher:

God bless you.

Errata: I spelled “Phoenician” and “Nineveh” wrong. Someday, when the Peshers are typeset for a book, these errors will be corrected, but for now, “pull your hair out.”
