The notion of the firstborn as a relevant fixture in modern sociology is an anachronism because ours is not a family-based society. It is statist.
I do not expect the material in this study to be relevant until 2046, after our society – if we have one – is forced back into a state of nature. But it is worthwhile for you to read it in anticipation of that new and stark reality. You may become the Magi for a generation yet unborn.
