Update for October, 2023: No word on Vogt’s recovery from neck/spinal surgery. Reading last month’s update, he seemed pretty upbeat about it. But as we all know, even if a major surgery is performed without complications, the older you are, the longer it takes for recovery. As soon as he sends out a report, I will update this page.
But, boy . . . was he right on about terrorist activity in the Sinai. He cancelled his expedition because of the dangers. And now, we have a war in the Middle East. This just serves to prove that in every subject matter, Vogt is well-researched, well-sourced, and judicious in his analyses. See below for details on his anticipation of troubles in the Middle East.

Update for September, 2023: Scratch that. As you might have noticed, Vogt has been struggling with a slurred speech problem the last few YouTube lectures. He figured out that it was from a neck injury he suffered in May. He will be getting surgery later this month. Below is his full report in an email communication to his subscriber list. What happened to me on May 21st 2023.
I was gardening and I try to stand on my shovel, but it must have hit a root I fell backwards, and my neck and head hit the neighbors concrete garden border. The fall affected my speech, my left hand, and weakness in both legs. To make a long story short, I’m going to have surgery the third week of September which hopefully will fix everything. The doctors will be replacing 4 discs in my neck. In doing some research it appears to be very rare to have a neck injury affecting speech. That is why my speech patterns has changed after that date. I was going to do part four in series 11, but I wasn’t happy with my speech patterns, so I’m going to put it off until after the surgery.
ISIL (ISIS) is active in northern Sinai.
I have recently learned that ISIS is active in terrorism in the Sinai specifically the northern Sinai. I don’t know if it’s around the real Mount Sinai but I’m not going to take any chances. I’ve included two links where you can read the articles. One incident was on 1/5/2020 and the other one on 8/13/2021. Their terrorism is still going on. The Egyptian government is not readily reporting any occurrences of terrorism in the Sinai. They are trying to keep it quiet. I’m not going to risk anybody’s life going to the Sinai now. I’ll only go when I know it is safe. I may have to go with the US Army or the CIA.

Update for August, 2023
Vogt is planning a new Sinai expedition to find the cave where the Israelites entered the Diehold. You must read his books to understand the significance of that endeavor. He thinks portals might exist where gravitational anomalies can be found. He discusses his experimental results from one in Southern California in his book God’s Day of Judgment.
The science fiction movie Timetrap (2017) is somewhat illustrative of this anomaly in its effects on time. Vogt thinks the Israelites did not wander in the Wilderness for 40 years, but experienced it as a short two-week hiatus in a Diehold stasis.

The reason I had to do this video and the next one is to prevent people from thinking they can build a cave system in the northern latitudes and think they will survive the reversal and resulting ice age there. This video is the first part in a two-part video to finally end the false idea that crustal displacement is real and as a result the Earth will tilt 90 degrees and the new equator will be where the poles are currently. Mr. Hapgood was the first to write about the theory back in 1959, and I prove he and Mr. Campbell were both in the OSS and later CIA. You will see he wrote an honest scientific paper even showing the objections to the theory even by Albert Einstein. This was totally different from Chen Thomas, also employed by the CIA. The next video will finally kill this theory once and for all.

If you decide to tell relatives or friends about it now they can understand the sequence of events that leads up to Senate Bill 4488 and why it was written. Part 6F will explain the actions of the United States government over the past 65 years, and what it means to all of us. It will also finally explain why President Trump’s whole bureaucracy, including his attorney general, turned against him. It has to do with the greatest secret the US government HAD until I came along.
It might be time to tell your children and/or grandchildren if they are over 16 years of age. I believe I proved that the Defense Intelligence Agency has tested my work using their $2+ billion AI program and it came to the same conclusion I did over 40 years ago without spending $2 billion. Their AI computer must have also concluded the same about polar reversal, nova, ice age, and where to build survival cave shelters—not in the United States proper but rather near the equator. The DoD would not have stuck their reputation and conclusion on the work/idea on only one person, and rightly so. Once they had the conclusion from the AI computer they felt confident enough to get Congress to pass a law that can start the work of saving some people.
The solar activity appears that there is a better than 20% chance Earth is going to be hit with another Carrington event in this solar cycle. I hope my fans write to their congressman and Senator and get them to pass the bills out of committee and passed ASAP.
The next step the foundation will take is to write to the large engineering companies and see if I can get them to give us an estimate for designing the cave system door, which is very important. Also building one and testing it. That will take a lot of money. After I get their quotes, I will then apply for a grant to DHS and DARPA and see if they will fund the project. IMPORTANT: If they don’t respond to the grant proposal or turn it down then we will know the DoD has decided to do it in-house and not tell anyone. That will mean the public will be on their own to find a way to survive. I will also be forced to do many more interviews in the media and raise the money to fund the project. That is NOT what I wanted to do because I did NOT want to cause public panic—but I do not know what else I can do. I am 75 years old and did not think I would have to be doing this in my old age. In reflection I now know why Moses (80 years old) at first did not want to do what God wanted him to do.

Update for February, 2023: 8661 days until the next reversal. No new content on Vogt’s respective websites or YouTube channel. In his most recent lectures, he was getting ready to spend a lot of time with engineers and perhaps to take a fact-finding trip to the Andes Mountains in South America to determine if the soil contains fossilized remains of sea creatures. If so, it would mean that the oceanic surge cleared the mountain range during the last reversal. If not, then there would be reason to believe that those mountains could be used to construct man-made, cave/tunnel survival bunkers. Stay tuned.

Part 9 will be titled “The Electric Universe and where the Electrons come from.” It will also cover a review of who knew that the foundation philosophy used in science was wrong. The rest of the video will cover where the excess electrons are being generated in the Universe and what is it telling us.
Part 10 will give the scientific philosophy to explain how to go back in time along with examples of it shown in the Torah and current day.

I think it’s ok to indulge a little science fantasy. The Evangelicals want to be “raptured” and Vogt wants to time travel in the Diehold. Others might want to build flying saucers to escape the coming catastrophe. We need a little mental break from the intensity of this subject. But here on this website, we think that most people will have to prepare after the self-destruction of our civilization. All that you will have will be your knowledge and the raw materials surrounding you. Our modern technology will be gone. You will have to think like a cave dweller to survive what is coming.

Update for November, 2021: As was suspected, in a personal email to me, Douglas Vogt has confirmed that he was indeed hospitalized for a Covid-19 Delta version infection from the end of August to the middle of October. He is home now continuing his recovery but reports that he lost 50 pounds, is still very weak, but has started to respond to inquiries and book orders. I tip my hat to this man’s dedication to warn the public about what is coming, a daunting and often unrewarding task.
He does thorough work preparing for his presentations and it is not unusual for there to be a time-lapse of a month or two between his video productions. But when I saw that his daily ticker clock marking the countdown to the 2046 nova was no longer being updated on his website, I was beginning to wonder. Keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

Update for May, 2021: Vogt has added more YouTube presentations on the topic of survival planning. He believes some kind of corporate (or cooperative) legal structure is in order to organize groups large enough (between 1500 to 2000 people) which can utilize existing caves for community habitation during and after the solar nova event. He envisions thousands of such groups world-wide to ensure survival of the species, as many survival pods will not make it for various reasons. He believes it might take one or two solar cycles (11-22 years), before the Sun forms a new crustal shell and begins emitting infra-red heat. So, even for groups inhabiting the low latitude regions, ice age conditions will persist following the nova. Well worth your time.

Douglas Vogt’s “Information Theory of Existence” – as opposed to the prevailing “Matter Theory” – is a brilliant philosophical discussion that deserves a closer examination but, in my opinion, does not have a direct bearing on the interpretation of scientific data related to the solar nova. Facts are facts, and the causation of some events cannot always be explained.
His historical revisionism of the Bible is fascinating and reflects his analytical mind as applied to religion, but is highly unusual. He believes that the first five books of the Bible – the books of Moses – are really a cover story created as a mnemonic device designed to preserve the hieroglyphs of the Hebrew alphabet in their sequence as found in the Torah. He believes the Torah was discovered on tablets in a cave which contained an unknown lettering code from a pre-existent, advanced civilization. Moses used them to create a written representation of the Hebrew language spoken by the Israelites. The stories were literary inventions, although they were attached to real historical figures in the book of Genesis and elsewhere. The purpose and interpretation of that original code still remains a mystery.
He also believes that the “solar clock cycle” of 12,068 years can be discovered imbedded in the text of the Torah and a litany of world events in some sort of numerological predestination – an exercise which while personally satisfying for him, nevertheless, I think detracts from the core scientific data. Most scientists are skeptical of numerology, as am I.
If we must label it, I would have to call “Vogtism” a unique form of Jewish mysticism. Having been a student of Christian antiquities myself, I find shortcomings in Vogt’s handling of the Old and New Testament texts. He believes that the true authors of these books were the Roman Piso’s family and reduces their origin to an improbable conspiracy of historiographical fraud.
I don’t find his religious views to be relevant to the larger scientific questions of a solar nova. But should they deserve future discussion, I will do so.
Update September, 2020: I find calling Vogt’s metaphysics “mysticism” to be less than satisfactory. I have studied his material for two years and do not find it anything less than rational. The term “mysticism” suggests a non-rational if not irrational train of thought. On his scientific discussions he is entirely rational and well researched.
Having said that, the reader must be aware that Vogt believes that all stars in the universe nova at the same time – every 12,068 years – and that the perceived randomness of novae in astronomical discovery reflect the time and distance it takes before the light of these explosions reach our observatories. More frequent novae from the same star he believes are evidence of lesser stellar outbursts or flashes. He does believe that the intensity and size of novae between stars varies but regardless, they are all on the same clock cycle.
For that reason, he does not subscribe to Davidson’s theory that solar outbursts and novae can exhibit randomness from the ebb-and-flow of galactic current sheets and the passing of binaries or red dwarfs which might work as a triggering mechanism.
Update December, 2020: Vogt has published several YouTube lectures over the course of the summer and fall. In the latest two, he discusses what parts of the Earth will be exposed to the various stages and effects of the next solar nova in 2046. He continues to impress with his research results and scholarship.
But one factor that neither he nor Davidson have addressed is the oblateness of the Earth. Newton calculated that the spin of the Earth causes it to be about 29 miles higher at the equator than at the poles. In the scenario he describes, he thinks that people who inhabit the equatorial regions have a greater chance of survival. However, in my view, if the Earth stops rotation, the oceans and atmosphere will recede from middle Earth towards the poles. 29 miles elevation would leave the middle latitudes experiencing the conditions of space. Something to think about.
Update January, 2021: Vogt continues to impress with his research. In one of his latest YouTube lectures he demonstrates the value of his Information Theory of Existence by correlating the Van Allen Belts with antenna wave science and the center of the Earth as a “broadcasting” (my term) modulation point. He thinks that the modulation point could be as small as 10 to 15 miles in diameter. It emanates the plasma which forms the matter of the Earth’s crustal structure. The synchronicity of this process lends credence to his belief in a “clock cycle” and the predictability of the next nova conflagration and subsequent ice age. It is important to remember that he does not believe the Earth has a core of molten iron. It is the wave cycles of the modulation point which causes the rotation of the Earth. In other words, the Earth’s spin does not cause the electro-magnetic field. It’s the other way around. The field causes the spin. Consequently, this is the foundation of his belief that when the magnetic field collapses or reverses, it will cause the Earth to stop spinning and reverse direction.
Update March, 2021: Vogt continues to argue against the crustal displacement theory in favor of his Information Theory of Existence and a nova which results in a day-long cessation of the Earth’s rotation and then its reversal. Vogt believes that the undersea river canyons off the Coasts of most continents proves it. See his Ice Age YouTube lectures for details. His latest addition to the series entertains a discussion on the use of caves as underground survival pods. He is trying to recruit engineers and other scientists to devise a workable technology for survival.
I have finally come to the conclusion that Vogt is a deist in his view of God as a super-sentient intelligence but an impersonal, computer-like entity called “the Diehold.” He believes in past civilizations prior to human civilization and that the universe teems with such civilizations. Much like Thomas Paine of the era of America’s Founding Fathers, he believes in reason and science. I discuss Thomas Paine in my St. Michael’s Pesher (September, 2020), “Worlds Without End.”

The Legends of the Last Great Flood & Nova and how some people survived it.
As hinted at in the Davidson update, there is friendly disagreement between him and Vogt over the next expected nova event and a bit of banter. Davidson believes in a crustal displacement theory, while Vogt believes that the Earth’s rotation stops and then reverses.
Davidson likes to use a collection of terms describing various solar outbursts ranging from ordinary solar flares to other flashes, micronovas, and supernovas. This practice annoys Vogt who tends to believe that there is no such thing as “micro-novas.”
It is new to most of us: the notion of a nova which does not result in a star-death for our Sun and an obliteration of the inner solar system. But that kind of terminal outburst is the super nova and evidently, the sky is full of stars which nova repeatedly and don’t destroy themselves. Vogt acknowledges this but argues that the mitigating effects are time and distance, not the inherent characteristics of the phenomenon itself. According to Vogt the Kuiper Belts are possible remnants from previous novas of our Sun. We see similar “belts” and dust clouds surrounding other stars that have gone nova.
These disagreements aside, each perspective is providing interesting science and the need to compare notes, as it were. Each person has to make up his own mind what the likely scenario might be and how to respond to it.
At this juncture, both Vogt and Davidson seem to believe the best course of preparation is high elevation cave dwelling. I disagree with both and will be offering my reasons soon. If there is any clue in the Bible, caves would not be the best choice to survive, but a special flotation pod might be: a`la Noah’s Ark.
