I don’t get any money for these promotions. My interest is purely academic.
Last week, I offered the latest Pesher in which I quoted Aldous Huxley as a “transitional Atheist.” What I meant by that term is that he was a founding member of the Humanist Society and a co-author of what became the first Humanist Manifesto. This was an attempt in the early 20th Century by Atheists to argue that Atheism was more “humane” than Christianity. Early Atheists experienced hostility and out-right persecution. Funny thing, decades later, after capturing first academia, then other institutions of power, the Atheists began to persecute Christians and have not relented, even to this day. I wonder why?
