Everybody is on holiday. Me? I continue to work my gardens, which I find to be the better therapy for these troubled times.
I will update sources next month. Vogt is still working with his engineers on a blast door for our future cave dwellers. McCanney continues his – presumably – pre-recorded weekly radio broadcasts with important discussions on Comet Hale-Bopp and his interaction with Russian scientists in the 1990s and the Millennium Group. Davidson slowed down just a bit to spend more time with his children.
But our Sun continues its unrelenting cycles irrespective of us. A time will come when it will demand our complete attention and the wrangling over geopolitics for a bigger piece of the economic pie will fade into the vanity it truly is.
