Update: 11/10/24 – The Planet Mercury is setting off numerous C and M Class solar flares as it advances in its orbit. We expect that it will elevate these storms to X-Class in the coming weeks beginning with its alignment with Venus, then Saturn, until it reaches the triple conjunction with Earth and Jupiter approximately the 5th of December. See below (date stamps are in the upper right hand corner).

Recent spectacular flaring has occurred with Mars in conjunction with Jupiter. See image below for today, October 8th:
The approach of Comet Atlas may have been responsible for yesterday’s flaring, but it may be because it too is in the vicinity of Mars and Jupiter:
