New Year Update

On Serving Tables

While the text in Acts 6 tells us that the “Apostles” were busy preaching, they passed the care of the church widows onto the “deacons” to “serve tables,” while they continued “in the Word of God and prayer.”

It so happens that the leading deacon was St. Stephen, who became the first Christian martyr. But with a little detective work, we discover he was much more than that. He was the very Son, the Firstborn, of our Lord Jesus Christ and as such was the Crown Prince of the House of David and the Messianic movement.

Even though he was the principal heir – and lord of all – like his father, he accepted the path of rule through service. We should do the same.

In the United States and many parts of the world, food servers who do a good job often earn gratuities or “tips” for their friendly and competent service. Likewise, many social media personalities will request a “buy me a coffee” or sell trinkets to raise funds.

We will continue our series on “The Black Star . . .” and Comet 3I/ATLAS. But don’t overlook the need to review. Eight installments have been posted so far.

I have been writing a textbook on biblical eschatology, which is what the Newton’s Latin edition of his Observations is as a preview. Why?

Earth changes and global catastrophism will challenge the worldview of many Christians and because they have an erroneous understanding of how God rules His creation and the nature of the 2nd Coming of Christ, their faith will shipwreck. I’m giving you the interpretation of Bible prophecy that you should have been taught by your Sunday School teacher.

The latest Pesher on Archetypes and Ecbatic Prophecy is another installment.

Happy New Year.
