My next Pesher will be published next weekend early for All Hallows. I will be discussing demonic possession in the context of civilizations which pre-date our world. Who are these beings we call angels, demons, spirits, ghosts and so on? If they are disembodied spirits, can we truly say that they have “survived” previous extinction events? And what is actually happening in the condition we call “demonic possession”?
Douglas Vogt believes that past survivors did so by entering a different dimension called “the Diehold” which held them in stasis until the catastrophe was past. Is that a realistic assumption or just another form of mental escapism as the rapture doctrine has become for Evangelicals? Stay tuned.
