The Evangelical world believes in a future Antichrist, 7-Year Tribulation Period, and a 1000-Year Reign of Christ upon the Earth in which the world experiences Paradise.
But what if I told you that the doctrine is a hoax?
What if I told you that the “Antichrist” is an archetype of a religious apostasy which includes these very Evangelicals? What if I told you that the Tribulation Period was 2,250 years long (the first half having already been completed and now the second half about to begin)? What if I told you that the 1000-Reign of Christ was symbolic of a much longer period involving not a thousand years, but a “thousand generations“? What if that reign begins with humanity barely surviving in a new stone age and then slowly rebuilding civilization from the ground-up with much sacrifice, pain and toil?
Would you be interested in learning more about that scenario? It doesn’t sound like much fun, does it? Not like the Rapture doctrine.
I call it the “Soteriological Model” of Bible prophecy which is built on “Newtonian Historicism,” a school of eschatology that once prevailed in England and early America.
