World War 3 Update: The Bomb in Your Pocket

“And then . . . God showed up.” Forrest Gump

A remarkable convergence of causal factors for possible world calamity is fast approaching. As of this writing, the world is shocked by the weaponizing of cell phone technology in an attack in Lebanon in which pagers and similar devices have exploded simultaneously in the pockets or hands of thousands of people. Death tolls are low, injuries high, but demoralization: universal.

Although Israel has not claimed responsibility, the world believes that this was an opening assault for a new level of conflict between the Israeli state and the Iranian-supported Hezbollah. It appears that an Israeli invasion of southern Lebanon – which harbors this militant group – has begun or is imminent.

The general claim is that these electronic devices were manufactured with explosive components and the hunt is on to find the offending manufacturer. We think this is a ruse to draw attention away from the fact that such devices are already dangerous. They are powered by lithium batteries, which are known to overheat, start fires, and even explode.

It is too early to form any solid conclusions as we wait for commentary from scientists who might understand the technology, but the fact that this has caught everyone by surprise – and I know of no one who has warned the public of these dangers – I am not sure that any candid explanation will be forthcoming. Imagine the world panic which would ensue should the average person become aware that a handheld cell phone might explode!

What I am suggesting is that the use of lithium batteries in cell phones or any electronic device does not need to be enhanced by “explosives” to produce the results we have just witnessed. All that is necessary is the use of a “directed energy weapon” (DEW) at the appropriate frequency to activate the already existing volatiles in the device. What it suggests is that anyone – including you should you be targeted – can be attacked in a similar manner.

Furthermore, DEW factors aside, what would happen in a solar storm of the “kill shot” variety discussed elsewhere on this website? We have been focusing on the loss of the technology, but what would happen if these devices do not just “burn out”? What if they explode?

Would it be “the finger of God”?

I would expect that random explosions will begin to occur from the localized effects of solar storms, if this concern has any validity. I am not giving up my cell phone. But I may purchase and use Faraday cloth to wrap it when I put it in my pocket or hold it in my hand.

Perhaps, you should consider the same.
