The primary focus of this website is “God’s Great Eschaton” otherwise known scientifically as a solar nova event. But we cannot ignore what might be done by our fellow man and the leaders of nations.
Currently, the world is experiencing war in an asymmetrical sense involving propaganda, subversion, sabotage, and economic sanctions. The primary “hot” war is the Ukrainian/Russian conflict which has resulted in casualties not seen since World War 2. Even though this conflict is taking place in a very small geographical area, it represents a much wider conflict which includes the world powers and their allies.
We normally associate the notion of World War 3 as one which results in the use of nuclear weapons – and such an escalation might yet be the outcome – but a world war need not be nuclear.
As might be discovered by the reader elsewhere on this website, in the Historicist view of Bible prophecy, current events are playing-out an “end times” scenario. According to the Prophet Daniel, the end of the 1,260 days (years) ended in 2016 with Brexit and the election of “the Great Disrupter” as President of the United States. Ending a period of the many faces of a world commercial empire which began with the seizing of temporal power by the Papacy in 756AD, it has continued with a very long period of apostasy, blasphemy, colonialism, and a crass materialism. The social control of such a kingdom began to unravel in 2016 and an unraveling which continues now in a parenthetical period of 30 years (“about a half hour”) of heavenly silence which will take us to the end of the 1,290 days (years).
The 1,290 days are set to end in 2046AD in which the turmoil of human wickedness and the perversion of fake reform movements finally gives way to the Great Eschaton: when God shows up to judge the world.
The prevailing view among current Christian thinking is that this “eschaton” involves some kind of “Rapture of the Saints” or a heavenly manifestation of Jesus Christ, as if it is the end of the time of trouble.
A consistent Historicist point of view requires the belief that 2046AD does not represent the “year” of God’s judgment, but rather the beginning of a “millennium” of God’s judgment. This judgment does not consist of an angelic escort into God’s courtroom, where you find an old man with a white beard sitting on a throne and dispensing the sentence of your eternal destiny.
This “Divine judgment” involves the latter half of the Great Tribulation (3 1/2 symbolic years or the second 1,260 days): a period of 1,260 years of astrophysical and geophysical catastrophes, introduced by the “darkening sun” and the “moon turning into blood” with the “stars falling from heaven.” In scientific nomenclature, this period begins with a solar nova/polar reversal/ice age as a sudden calamity followed by long period of numerous local and regional catastrophes which – if survived at all – reduces the human race to stone age conditions.
