Survival Praxis #34 – The Nuclear Explosion

I have cited Cresson Kearny’s Nuclear War Survival Skills on this website numerous times. I have told my readers to download it and read it. Most readers are too lazy to do that; so I indulge you. Here it is:

This is the original,1979 version as published by the Oak Ridge Laboratories for the public domain, with an updated preface on the necessary materials for home-made Geiger counters. I will be discussing that and other topics found in the book as they pertain to our on-going discussion here on surviving a solar nova.

If the world should experience a nuclear war, and you happen to survive it, consider the experience as a warm-up to the “mother of all nuclear explosions” on God’s Great Day: we think in 2046 AD.

This is no romance novel you can read at an evening sitting. It’s technical, detailed, and with a lot of content requiring contemplation in order to understand what is “written between the lines.” You must dedicate some time and mental concentration on this topic. Shut off the music and the television.

Good luck!
