Avoiding Panic, Hucksterism, and Self-Delusion: Why We Still Believe the Nova Chances are 1 in 3

We are in a “solar nova watch.” What that means is that conditions exist, which, if they continue, will result in a major solar flash or nova event. We think that these conditions are worrisome and should result in countermeasures on your part in terms of preparations, yet we emphasize, it is not a nova “warning.”

A nova warning would be appropriate if conditions on the Sun were beginning to cascade toward an irreversible outcome. That has not yet occurred.

Currently, any number of processes which are on-going can suddenly stop or reverse. For example, Earth’s electromagnetic poles are weakening and experiencing an excursion. But data can appear anytime which could show Earth’s magnetic fields strengthening and returning to their points of origin. What would that mean for our doomsday models?

Likewise for the Sun and the impact of the galactic current sheet which has entered the solar system. It is possible that in the vastness of space, an electrically neutral pocket can suddenly appear in which our solar system would immediately experience a reprieve. The universe is not linear and its changes often occur with sputters and spurts.

Since we have not experienced this phenomenon before at a scientific level, it is impossible to say whether “this is it” or whether we must yet wait for centuries before the great catastrophe to happen.

With all due respects to Ben Davidson, he is freaking everybody out with his drill sergeant ultimatums of “do or die.” His latest antic is to accuse you of murdering your children for neglecting his “Prepper’s Survival Course” for the fire-sale price of $129. (The Advanced Course is $599).

I will eventually purchase it because I am a researcher and that is what I do. You can if you want. I’m sure it is worth the price. But, seriously Ben?

While I have no reason to believe that he does not personally believe his own rhetoric, I’m not so sure about his sponsors. I think they look at the Suspicious Observers community as just another market. I wonder what Ben has to do to keep the lights on at the Observers Ranch? He has to pay the bills somehow. I wish him all the best of success.

For the rest of us, we need to identify what is in our best interests and make risk assessments independently of people or groups which might just be looking at us like another cash cow. Right now, knowledge and developing important skill sets should be your concern. Following Cresson Kearney’s Nuclear War Survival Skills is timeless and cheap. Following his methods, you can build a bunker in a matter of weeks.

But if we ever enter a “nova warning,” that will be all that you will have. You will need to know what to do and then to do it efficiently without delay. Turn off the television and invest some time in learning the things you will need to survive such a scenario.

I have been working on Survival Praxis Book II. When I feel enough people have read Survival Praxis Book I available free on this website, then I will begin publishing the updates. It will probably be published behind a pay wall, but I don’t really expect or need to make any money off of it. It will contain patented material and I have to protect the sources with a subscription. However, if information appears free on the internet, I will be sure to pass it on.

For Nova Day,
