February 26th, 2022: On Bagging a (Russian) Bear

I live on the edge of bear country. I don’t hunt, but sometimes, a local hunter will offer bear meat to his neighbors. Hunters from out-of-state spend a lot of money to hunt bear here. Bears are not a problem locally. But if you like to go camping in the mountains nearby, it’s a good idea to carry a sidearm. If you want to “bag” a bear, you have to kill it first.

The powder-faced pretty boys in the Anglo-American Deep State – or perhaps, the sophomore sorority that runs the state department – think they can “bag the Russian bear.” Putin does not seem to know it, but evidently, he has been lured into a trap. His blitzkrieg has stalled: 72 hours and counting. The Ukrainian leaders pretended that they were unaware of a military build-up on their border; NATO leaders seemed confused and indecisive; the Great Pretender still pretends to be senile, unless maybe he really is. Putin has been lured into Ukraine just as Saddam Hussein was lured into Kuwait in the first Iraq War. Remember that?

If they think that they can “capture” the Russian bear and display it in their circus act, they have made a big mistake. Bears will leave you alone, unless you bother them. Only the likes of Davy Crockett has ever “wrassled a bar” and lived to tell about it.

Over the centuries, every major European power has fought the Russians . . . and lost. A strong Russia serves an important geopolitical purpose: preserving a balance of power on the Eurasian Continent. A weak Russia gives rise to barbaric tribalism; we call it terrorism. Theologians call it “Gog & Magog.”

I have full admiration and respect for the Ukrainian people who are patriotically defending their country. I also have sympathies for Russian grievances. I don’t have any sympathy for the Anglo-American meddlers who are trying to make quick and easy money.

This website is not about current events. It’s about surviving the Great Eschaton in 2046 AD. We need the governments of the world to mobilize toward that effort. Watching senseless wars and the sabotage of the world economy for political gain is frustrating. Time is running out.
