The Day of Trumpets, 2022

Douglas Vogt believes that the next cataclysm involving a geomagnetic reversal, solar nova, and a subsequent ice age will begin October 15/16, 2046 at the beginning of the Jewish Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkoth), which happens to also fall at the peak of the next Gleissberg Cycle. Vogt is an accountant and a numerologist. It is not uncommon for mathematicians to have a fascination with a predestination dictated by numbers which not only governs the laws of physics, but moral law, as well.

Isaac Newton was to a degree a numerologist, as were all Rosicrucians at the time. He was naturally drawn to the Biblical prophet Daniel and to the various calculations found in the Book of Revelation. The current demand for synchronicities among the Anon and Q posts on the Deep Web indicates a strong Rosicrucian influence.

This year, the Jewish world observes the beginning of the harvest festivals, as it does every year, with the Day of Trumpets (Yom Teruah, September 26th) which announces the New Civic Year (Rosh Hashanah) and the release of Jubilees and other sabbatical years (depending on the cycle), then proceeds to the Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur) and then finally, to Tabernacles proper – October 9-16 – for this year, 2022.

The purists who follow the Qumran calendar began their observances two weeks ago and condemn any other calculations as apostate and Babylonian paganism.

Since I believe that Trumpets was fulfilled at the Birth of Christ, September 11, 3 BC, I’m inclined to believe that the date should be fixed on our calendars, just as Christmas – which ought to be a commemoration of the Three Kings of the East who paid homage to the new Messianic king and not a celebration of the birth of Christ, as such – is fixed at December 25th.

The Age of the Ingathering began then and may conclude in 2046 as Vogt predicts. We shall see.

Regardless, Christian doctrine does not adequately incorporate the future cataclysm into its eschatological scheme. I am preparing a Pesher for the season, which should be released next weekend, entitled, Anno Domini, In the Year of our Lord, 100,000 (or 99,997 AD, vulgaris)”. Be watching for it.

God bless you.
